A card access control system lets staff and visitors through doors, turnstiles and barriers only in the zones and at the times they are authorised for, and logs every passage. In the systems we install, one card read opens the door, records time and attendance and logs a canteen meal; visitors get a timed QR code.
CCTV tells you what happened afterwards; access control stops the wrong person getting through the door in the first place. On many sites the real problem is that doors, time and attendance and the canteen each run on their own device and their own list — a leaver's card is cancelled in one system and still works in another, and payroll data is stitched together by hand at month end.

We installed RFID access control with separate permission profiles for the production area, administrative building and warehouse. Turnstile passages were logged automatically, and the monthly timesheet came straight from the system into the existing payroll software instead of being compiled by hand. Visitor access ran through the same platform.

Staff get permanent cards and visitors get a single-use, timed QR code, so reception does not need to print cards. Cards and QR codes are read on the same terminal and follow the same permission rules: a visitor can only enter the zones assigned to them, within the time allowed, and every passage is logged.
Cost has three parts: hardware, installation and software subscription. Hardware such as readers, locks, turnstiles and barriers is purchased and owned by your organisation; installation depends on the number of doors and site conditions; SmartPass runs on a monthly or yearly subscription per terminal. After a site survey we send a written proposal.
Card numbers are never stored in plain text; they are kept as an irreversible hash. Every change to permissions and records is written to an audit trail with old and new values, and the auditor role is read-only. Records past their retention period are anonymised, in line with Turkish data protection law (KVKK).
Passages are monitored live. In an emergency every door can be locked with a single action, and the system lists who is inside each zone at that moment, which helps identify anyone still on site during an evacuation. Installations also include power supplies with battery backup for outages.
