SmartPass
Access control, attendance and canteen counting in one system
SmartPass is a card access control system built end to end by Digital Bridge. It is not a localised repackaging of an off-the-shelf product: the hardware, the software and the terminal interface were designed by our own team, and we own the source code.
In the field that comes down to one practical consequence: your site does not have to fit the product — the product is adapted to your site.
One Read Feeds Three Separate Processes
The moment an employee presents a card the door opens, an attendance record is created and — if entitled — a meal is deducted. All three run on the same record, so there is no month-end reconciliation between systems.
The Door Opens
If an authorisation rule applies, the relay fires. The decision is stored together with the rule that determined it — "why was it denied" never goes unanswered.
Attendance Is Recorded
Entries and exits are calculated against the shift plan. No separate time-and-attendance device is required.
A Meal Is Deducted
Meal entitlement is deducted at the moment of the read. No end-of-day ticket counting, no manual lists.
Features That Hold Up On Site
Card and QR on the Same Terminal
13.56 MHz RFID cards and time-limited QR codes are evaluated by the same reader. Staff get a permanent card, visitors a single-use QR — both are subject to the same authorisation rules.
Rules Without Technical Jargon
"The production team may enter the Warehouse zone during working hours." Rules are written at that level. When two rules conflict, the system states plainly which one prevails.
Live Monitoring and Remote Action
Every read appears on the monitoring screen instantly. In an emergency all doors are locked in a single action, and the list of people currently on site is available per zone.
Zone Hierarchy
Zones are modelled on your own site layout: gatehouse, production, warehouse, offices. Permissions follow the zone tree and can include child zones.
Attendance, Payroll Input and Reports
Entry and exit records turn into timesheets against the shift plan. Ready-made reports can be fed into your existing payroll system.
Multi-Site Structure
Each organisation runs on its own subdomain and its own database. Head office receives consolidated reports; sites cannot see one another's records.
Personal Data, Processed for a Limited Purpose
An access control system inherently knows where a person is. SmartPass was designed from the start to handle that data responsibly, in line with GDPR and Turkish KVKK expectations.
Roles and Zone Scope
Ready-made roles are defined, and each user sees only the zones they are authorised for. The scope filter is applied in the core layer; module code cannot bypass it.
Audit Trail
Which user changed which field to which value is recorded with both the old and the new value. The auditor role views all records read-only.
Data Separation
Each organisation runs in a separate database. Card numbers are never stored in plain text — only an irreversible digest is kept.
Retention and Anonymisation
Records past their retention period are irreversibly anonymised. Even if an old card is presented again, it cannot be tied back to an identity.
Every Sector Has a Different Access Pattern
A shift-based foundry and a continuously staffed server room are not governed by the same rule set. The SmartPass rule engine was built to carry that difference.
A Quote Has Three Line Items
Hardware
Terminal hardware is purchased outright and ownership passes to your organisation. There is no mandatory lease.
Installation
Priced by door count, cabling and mounting work. Confirmed after an on-site survey.
Subscription
The software is licensed per terminal, monthly or annually. Card design is included; card printing is priced separately.
